Summer Break Passes the Halfway Point
School To Begin August 20th

The summer break is half way over for Ashland-Greenwood Public School students and thoughts are starting to turn towards the 2008-09 school term. The school district is busy getting facilities ready, ordering books and supplies and making other preparations for the new school year. The new school term will begin on Wednesday, August 20, 2008. School will be held for a full day session. Back to School Night will be on Monday evening, August 18th. A link to the full school year calendar can be found at the link below. New staff members in 2008-09 will include Jill Finkey as the Curriculum Supervisor, Pat Junker as the Vocal Music instructor and Dustin Foutch will take over for Terry Dennis as the Industrial Technology teacher. It is anticipated that all other staff members will be returning for the 2008-09 school term.
High School fall sports will begin practices on Monday, August 18th. A schedule of those practices will be distributed by the athletic department in August.
